FAQ
AAFCO stands for Association of American Feed Control Officials. It is a voluntary membership association of local, state and federal agencies that establishes the nutritional standards for Complete & Balanced pet foods through its publication.
In the United States, pet foods are not allowed to have "Complete & Balanced" label on their website or packaging if they don't satisfied AAFCO's definition of "Complete & Balanced" nutrition in their pet food.
